Citizens Information Phone Service (CIPS) provide free, confidential and impartial information and advice to the public on social services, rights and entitlements.
Citizens Information Phone Service (CIPS) is currently seeking to recruit an Administrator. The role being advertised for is:
Permanent Full Time Administrator

The Role
The Administrator will responsible for the preparation of financial transactions e.g. payroll, pensions, and financial Returns, and render effective administrative support to assist CIPS in the development and maintenance of effective administrative practices that support its role and capacity as a national Citizens Information provider.
Full Time Salary: €26,411 - €38,803 per annum (inclusive of two Long Service Increments (LSI), pro-rata for part-time. See the candidate pack for further information.
Incremental Credit Assessment: It is expected that all new entrants to CIPS will be appointed at point one of the salary scale. However, CIPS operates an incremental credit process for appointments higher than point one. This process is applicable to new entrants into the organisation. Incremental credit criteria, based on the competencies for the role, are assessed against employment history as laid out in the application form only. A request for incremental credit from a successful candidate must be made within the first 3 months of employment. The decision on whether to award an incremental credit or not is a decision made by the Board and is subject to the availability of funding.
Pension: There is a pension scheme is in place where 5% is contributed by the employee and 7% by the employer. Membership of the pension scheme is mandatory.
Annual Leave: 23 days, 24 days after 2 years’ service, 25 days after 5 years’ service
Remote Working: There is no immediate entitlement to remote working. Any requests for same will be considered in line with the prevailing policy and/or legislative framework.
