Launch of Citizens Information Service National Strategy 2025-2027 ‘Connecting Citizens’

The Citizens Information Board was delighted to attend the launch of the new Citizens Information Service National Strategy 2025 – 2027 ‘Connecting Citizens’ at an event in Buswell’s Hotel, Dublin on 12 November 2025. The strategy was launched by the Minister for Social Protection, Dara Calleary TD.

The new Citizens Information Service strategy commits to enhance in-person services and empower clients to access vital services online.

In-person information and advice is available from Citizens Information trusted Information Officers at any of the 90 Citizens Information Centres around the country.

The network of Citizens Information Services is funded and supported by the Citizens Information Board (CIB).

The event was attended by members of the Oireachtas; Graham Long, Chief Executive Officer CIB; Rachel Downes Head of Division Standards & Development CIB; Susan Shanahan, Advocacy Standards & Development Manager CIB, Mary Lyne, Standards & Development Manager, CIB of as well as staff, volunteer and board members of the Citizens Information Services.
