Birr Citizens Information Centre – update

The Citizens Information Board is aware that everyone in Birr Citizens Information Centre (CIC) is safe following a fire at an adjoining premises on Emmet Street Monday 14 July 2025.

Birr CIC will remain closed while it is assessed for damage. An update will be given once it is safe to re-open its doors to the public.

CIB would like to extend its thanks to the emergency services for their prompt response and to the staff of Birr CIC for their important role in a swift evacuation of the premises.
