Citizens Information Services Year in Review 2025 published
The Citizens Information Board (CIB) welcomes the publication of Supporting Our Clients – A Year in Review 2025, which highlights the vital work of Citizens Information Services (CIS) across Ireland over the past year.
In 2025, Citizens Information Services supported more than 384,000 people and responded to over 708,000 queries on issues including social welfare, housing, health, employment and migration. The report also outlines the advocacy work, which helped people resolve complex issues and secure their rights and entitlements.
The publication marks a significant year for the Citizens Information Service, including the celebration of 50 years of Citizens Information and the launch of the Citizens Information Service National Strategy 2025-2027, Connecting Citizens.
CIB would like to acknowledge the dedication of Citizens Information Service staff, volunteers and Boards of Management in delivering a compassionate, professional, and people-centred service.
