Benefits and Taxes 2026

The Citizens Information Board’s (CIB) Benefits and Taxes 2026 wallchart was published in early 2026. The wallchart is published annually and is a key information tool for information providers in Citizens Information Services and MABS offices.

It is a large format, quick reference guide that offers a comprehensive overview of social welfare payments and taxes.

It covers payments for jobseekers, carers and older people along with rates for child and family payments such as Child Benefit, Working Family Payment and the Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance. It gives income limits for the medical card and GP visit card and information on tax rates, bands, reliefs and credits including the Rent Tax Credit. It is also available in a booklet format.

CIB has distributed 4,000 wallcharts and 30,000 booklets nationally to Citizens Information Services and MABS offices, ensuring wide access to this essential information. Oireachtas members can order copies through CIB’s dedicated Oireachtas email service.
