DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
(Job-Sharing position, 17.5 hours a week)
Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2018

Key tasks for this post include developing and managing Dublin 12 & 6w Citizens Information Service; responsibility for the overall development, management of innovative process for the provision of quality information to our clients and to manage the recruitment, training and development of a small team. The Development Manager will also take responsibility for the development of a network of information service providers in the area; will represent the Service at conferences and will assist the strategic planning for the service.

Ideally candidates should have a relevant third level qualification. Knowledge of social services and information/advice/advocacy provision, excellent communication skills and a high level of computer literacy are essential. Experience of management in a busy information environment is desirable.

This is a job sharing position (17.5 hours per week) fixed term contract until 31st December 2018.

Salary scale: €44,078- €57,076. It is anticipated that new entrants to the Citizens Information Service will be appointed on the 1st point of the scale however, incremental credit, should it be awarded, will be based on previous relevant experience as set out on application form.
