Clondalkin & Lucan Citizen Information Service are seeking a Temporary Full-Time Development Manager for a fixed-term contract.
Citizens Information Services provide free, confidential and impartial information, advice and advocacy services to the public on social services, rights and entitlements.
Clondalkin & Lucan Citizens Information Service is currently seeking to recruit a full-time Development Manager on a fixed term contract until December 2018.
The Main purpose of the Role is:
Key tasks for this post include developing and managing Clondalkin & Lucan Citizens Information Service; responsibility for the overall development, management of innovative process for the provision of quality information to our clients and to manage the recruitment, training and development of a small team. The Development Manager will also take responsibility for the development of a network of information service providers in the area; will represent the Service at conferences and will assist the strategic planning for the service.
Ideally candidates should have a relevant third level qualification. Applicants should have a knowledge of social services, information, advice, advocacy provision, excellent communication skills and a high level of computer literacy. Experience of management in a busy information environment is desirable.
This is a full-time (35 hours a week), fixed-term contract position until December 2018.
The Development Managers salary scale is currently €44,078 - €57,076 per annum.
It is anticipated that new entrants to the Citizen Information Service will be appointed on the 1st point of the scale. Incremental credit should it be awarded will be assessed on the basis of the information contained in the application form and cover letter at the time of submission for the post.
