Tá an tSeirbhís um Fhaisnéis do Shaoránaigh Chonnacht Theas sa tóir ar Oifigeach Faisnéise Lánaimseartha buan, le Gaeilge Líofa, a earcú don Oifig atá lonnaithe i Ros Muc.

Ar phríomhdhualgais an phoist tá faisnéis, comhairle, abhcóideacht a thabhairt agus seirbhísí atreoraithe a chomhlíonadh chomh maith le bheith ag idirchaidreamh le soláthróirí seirbhíse eile, idir soláthróirí reachtúla agus dheonacha araon.

Beidh gá le scileanna cumarsáide den chéad scoth, chomh maith le leibhéal maith scileanna taighde agus Teicneolaíochta Faisnéise, agus ní mór an Ardteistiméireacht agus/nó a chomhionann oideachais a bheith comhlíonta ag an té a cheapfar. Ní mór cáilíocht ardleibhéil i réimse iomchuí staidéir, (m.sh beartas sóisialta, cearta an duine, obair shóisialta / cleachtas cúraim shóisialta, cáilíocht dlí srl.), a bheith ag an té a cheapfar chomh maith le taithí oibre substaintiúil i dtimpeallacht oibre faisnéise / comhairle / abhcóideachta a bhí gnóthach.

Information Officer

Full Time, 35 hours per week, South Connacht Citizens Information Service (Rosmuc, Co. Galway)

South Connacht Citizens Information Service is currently seeking to recruit a full-time Irish language speaking Information Officer for its Rosmuc Office.

Key tasks for the post include the direct delivery of information, advice, advocacy and referral services, and liaison with other service providers, both statutory and voluntary.

Fluency in oral and written Irish, excellent communication skills, a good level of research and IT skills, and a Leaving Certificate and/or equivalent of education are required.

Ideally, applicants will also hold a higher-level qualification in relevant field of study, (e.g. social policy, human rights, social work/social care practice, legal qualification etc.), and / or substantial previous work experience in a busy information/advice/advocacy environment.
