Research is important in providing greater understanding of a developing area such as advocacy and the Citizens Information Board initiated a number of research projects and consultation processes in the early years of developing advocacy services. The Citizens Information Board has published research reports, periodicals and guidelines for good practice in the areas of advocacy and accessibility.
