Excellent weather and a huge turnout of over 190,000 meant that the Citizens Information stand at this year's National Ploughing Championship at Athy, Co. Kildare, on Sept 20th to 22nd September, was very busy.
The staff, volunteers and board members from South Kildare CIS managed the stand supported by CIB Regional Services. Queries were varied from pension entitlements to employment rights.
Over 1,700 people entered a free draw at the stand and the winner was from Co Clare.
