New 'Information for school leavers' booklet published

May 2010

A new edition of the booklet Information for school leavers was recently launched by the Citizens Information Board. The booklet aims to answer some of the practical questions about education and employment that young people have at this time.

Information for school leavers looks at the options for further education and training after leaving school and at the supports that are available.

It also provides a guide to starting work, including useful information on taxes and employment rights, and outlines the social welfare situation for jobseekers who have just left school.

Information for school leavers is free and can be obtained from your local Citizens Information Centre and is available online.

To order copies contact the Citizens Information Board office for your region.
