The Citizens Information Board Group Insurance Facility was established in 1981. The facility offers voluntary organisations an excellent range of insurance cover through its group insurance scheme, underwritten by Allianz plc. This is a competitive facility that is customised to suit the needs of its now 300+ member organisations. Any voluntary group involved in the provision of social services is eligible to join the scheme.

Allianz are now pleased to announce the following ADDITIONAL benefits under the Property Section of the Policy FREE OF CHARGE

  • Fire Extinguishing Expenses and Fire Brigade Charges up to a Limit of €6,500 any one claim.
  • Loss of Metered Water, Gas or Oil up to a limit of €10,000 any one claim.
  • Escape of Oil up to a Limit of €10,000 any one claim.
  • Trace and Access up to a Limit of €25,000 any one claim.
  • Seasonal Increase for Stock - Sums insured increased by 20%

In order to join, an organisation needs to complete an Affiliation Form and Proposal Form that meet the criteria of membership of the Citizens Information Board Group Insurance Facility. Acceptance is at the discretion of Allianz plc.
