South Munster Citizens Information Service provides free, confidential and impartial information, advice and advocacy services to the public on social services, rights and entitlements.
South Munster Citizens Information Service has two vacancies for Part-Time Administrators (17.5 hours per week) on fixed term contracts in their Cork City Centre and Hollyhill Citizens Information Centres. Responsibilities include clerical, administration and reception duties in addition to assisting the Development Manager in the overall work of the service. Excellent communication, organisational, office administration, book-keeping and IT skills are required, with relevant qualifications and experience.
Applicants must be proficient in spoken and written English and be legally entitled to work and reside in Ireland. Skills testing may apply.
Locations & Hours
Cork City Centre Citizens Information Centre
Wed 1pm – 4.30pm*, Thu & Fri 9am – 5pm
* Alternate Wed evening session, 5pm – 8.30pm, currently once a month
Hollyhill Citizens Information Centre
Mon-Fri 9:30am – 1pm
Administrator salary scale is currently €24,407 - €33,567 pro-rata for part-time staff. It is anticipated that new entrants will be appointed to the 1st point on the scale. Incremental credit, should it be awarded, will be based on previous relevant experience as set out in the application form and covering letter.
